western affair started by accident. olivia was studying fine art at the university of westminster in london, making sculptural pieces like rubber cowboy hats and cement cowboy boots. people kept asking where they could buy them, and that turned into a brand.

today we make shoes to order in poland, mostly from deadstock italian leather left over by large luxury houses, alongside upcycled pieces made from vintage fabrics and fur. we work with small, family-run workshops, and we make each pair only once it's ordered.
